Eskimo Necklace
One of my students this past year is Eskimo. On the last day, his grandmother presented me with this beautiful necklace. It would have traditionally been made with rock and bone beads. The hair comes from an arctic wolf. It is a very special gift.
My computer may be down for a couple days. I will try to get it going again before my trip.

Yes, I found it right away, and I am delighted. I hope many use it to provide deserved and worthwhile commentary on your "journey".
Welcome! to the blogspot. Guess who else is feeling like she should take the plunge?
We are off to the final Heathman Hotel and Research session. I'm not taking my laptop this time so we will be out of the loop until early Monday evening.
Ohh, and OHH on the necklace! How special.
I'll be hitting two or three downtown camera shops to heft and feel the recommended cameras. I've printed the specs of each to have in hand.

I think this will be easier for you to keep up with over the summer. I look forward to MANY posts from you. I'll miss your daily photo. When do you leave?
Thanks for being the first two commenters. Just to set the record straight :) , I have had a blog on this site since last August so I was the FIRST (ah-ha-ha) to take the plunge.
I leave on Wednesday for Romania and may try to do a posting several times a week. I may not have as many photos but I will do the best I can.
